People with cone heads, rat legs and chicken feet. Blood, guts, boobs, pee-pee, snakes, skeletons. Creatures tearing off their own limbs and eating them. These are running themes in Scott Harrison’s illustrated book Undigested Kernel. Indeed it’s dark, but the fright is cast aside by the book’s refreshingly original feel. Harrison, a tattoo artist and Portland resident, is internationally renowned for his brilliantly twisted and peculiar illustrations. Atlas Tattoo, 4543 N Albina Ave., 281-7499. 7 pm. Free.
