The first "East of Eden" event - September 19-21 2008 at Los Angeles Municipal Gallery located at Barndsall Art Center in East Hollywood. This event was the first annual Multi-gallery exhibition celebrating the contributions of over 12 Eastside galleries. Initally brainstormed by Zara Zeitountsian of Black Maria Gallery, the event became reality with the help and hard work of many galleries and individuals including Leora Lutz from Gallery Revisited and Mike Kelly from Junc Gallery and other members of the Silverlake Gallery Alliance. We are looking foward to an even bigger and better East of Eden in 2009!
